  • Pastor Carl Wells

    Senior pastor

    Pastor Carl graduated from Mulberry High School in 1966 and soon after joined the USAF.  Upon his discharge he enrolled in Florida Baptist Schools for two years.  He became the pastor of WOBC in 1973 and continues until this day.  He received his B.A. in Biblical Studies in 2012 from Louisiana Baptist University from which he also holds a Master's degree in Leadership Management.

  • Pastor Joe Wells

    CO-PAstor/Student PAstor

    Pastor Joe graduated from Mulberry High School in 2008.  He grew up in WOBC and has been on staff since 2009. He attended Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida where he received his B.A. in Music Ministry.  Joe also holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

  • Pastor Bill Hassell

    Associate Pastor/couple's ministry

    Pastor Bill and his wife Janee joined the staff of WOBC in 2014 working directly with our married couples.  Pastor Bill has led churches in both Texas and Alabama. Pastor Bill received his bachelor's degree in Theology from Baptist College of Florida in 1986 and has completed part of a Master's degree in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary.

  • Wendy Coulter

    Church Administrator

    Wendy joined the WOBC staff as Church Administrator in 2015.  She graduated from Lakeland Christian School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida.  She has served as the church pianist since the age of 14 and works with special music groups for Sunday worship.

  • Jeannie Wells

    Secretary

    Jeannie has been an active member at WOBC for over 25 years and joined the staff in 2017. She has served in both the Children's and Youth ministries and is currently a member of the choir.

  • Sam Rudd

    Maintenance

    Sam joined the staff as our maintenance guy in December of 2018. Sam has been a member of WOBC for many years serving as an Associate Pastor, teaching Bible classes, counseling and visitation.
